Concrete Laborer

  • Work Status: Full-Time
  • Location: Arlington, WI
  • Qualifications:
    • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
    • Willingness and ability to perform manual work following verbal and written instructions.
    • Any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the knowledge and ability to perform the work.
    • Ability to work long hours Monday through Friday and occasionally Saturday
    • Must be at least 18 years old.

Perform tasks involving physical labor for concrete projects. May operate a variety of hand and power tools. May clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set forms, erect scaffolding, and clean up debris. May assist other craft workers.

Salary/Benefits: Union Wages, Benefits provided through respective Union.

Responsibilities Include

  • Seasonal work – able to work in all weather conditions.
  • Statewide travel.
  • Ability to work independently and complete daily activities.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects 50-100#’s on a regular basis, walk and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions..
  • Perform mixing, handling, pouring, vibrating and otherwise placing concrete by hand or machine. Operating motorized buggies.
  • When concrete is pumped, the assembly, coupling of all connections and parts, the cleaning of all equipment and parts used in concrete work.
  • A Laborer will perform all vibrating, grinding, spreading, flowing and puddling, and leveling of concrete prior to finishing. Tending all rod, mesh and other materials needed for reinforcing concrete construction. A Laborer will cut concrete as needed.
  • A Laborer will strip forms, clean forms, oil forms and carry to the next point of installation. A Laborer will snap wall ties and remove tie rods, patch any voids etc.
  • Removal of forms, cleaning, stacking, oiling, and handling.
  • Laborers build the scaffold, install planking and maintain the scaffold, remove the scaffold for all building and construction crafts.
  • Load and unload trucks and haul and hoist materials.
  • General cleaning – general sweeping, cleaning, and removing debris, pumping water.

Carpenter

    • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Truck Driver

  • Work Status: Full-Time
  • Location: Arlington, WI
  • Qualifications:
    • Have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
    • Ability to obtain a CDL license.

Responsibilities Include

  • Drive vehicles with capacities to transport materials and equipment to and from job sites.
  • Securely load, unload, lift, sort, stack, and organize construction material and equipment.
  • Safely and efficiently handle and move warehouse items using power equipment as needed.
  • Carries out completion of all field orders for construction materials, tools and equipment.
  • Willing to learn and operate forklifts, Bobcats and specialty loading devices as necessary.
  • Be able to lift/push/pull 50 lbs. on a regular basis as well as other physical tasks needed.
  • Must be versatile, be able to multi-task, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Performs additional assignments per supervisor’s direction.
